Lead Abatement
Lead abatement is a process that involves removing any particles that are lead-based from houses, business buildings, and other products throughout the world. The reason why lead abatement will always have to continue to take place is to reduce the amount of exposure to lead that a person can experience from using lead-based products. There are three main procedures that can be used to complete lead abatement; enclosure, removal/replacement, or encapsulation.
Lead Testing
Lead belongs to the carbon group of heavy metals. It is a chemical compound and is identified using the Pb symbol. It is a metal with blue-gray color. Usually this heavy metal is used in residential homes, commercial buildings, bullets, batteries, fusible alloys, weights, cable covering, solder, plastics, collapsible tubes, and radiation shields. This metal is used as an ingredient to some other pieces of metal in order to create an alloy or another kind of chemical compound.

Mold Remediation
Once a certified mold inspector has come to a final decision that there is in fact live mold and that is likely harmful to your family, or the inspector might tell you and your family you have breeding grounds which can become toxic, it’s important to have the mold removed. The procedure of removing the mold and eliminating contaminated products is also known as mold remediation.
Mold Inspection
It can be often times be challenging for home owners that may be experiencing water damage or showing early stages of mold exposure to determine if they need a certified mold inspector or to go straight to a mold remediation company. Here at Lead Abatement Services of the Northeast section of Ohio we offer both. However, a lot of home inspectors will perform mold inspections but will then opt out of the mold removal process and many mold remediation companies don't perform the mold testing. That is why we offer both to make it easier on the home owner.

Lead Clearance
A visual observation and collection of samples by an inspector/ Risk Assessor and analysis by an official laboratory when the project is fully completed, interim control intervention, or any type of renovation that disturbs lead-based paint. The clearance is performed to ensure that lead risk levels do not exceed standards established by the EPA.
Risk Assessor
A Lead based paint Inspection clarifies if lead is present in paint, at what level, and where the leaded paint is located. A Lead based paint Risk Assessment also identifies the existence or non-existence of Lead based paint hazards, their source and risk levels, and gives recommendations on how to control the hazards.
